Terms of Service

Last updated September 15, 2026

Trip Tracker is an independently run personal project, not a company. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

What Trip Tracker is

Trip Tracker is a shared itinerary tool: you create a trip, invite people with a code, and everyone adds their own flights, hotels, reservations, and comments to one shared timeline. It's provided as-is, free of charge.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Trip Tracker. You're responsible for keeping your password and any passkeys secure, and for anything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up.

Your content

You keep ownership of the trip content you add — itinerary items, comments, and anything else you create. By adding it, you give the other members of that trip permission to see it, and you give us permission to store and display it as needed to run the app. You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

Anyone who joins a trip can see the itinerary items and comments other members have added to it — don't add anything you wouldn't want visible to everyone in the trip.

Acceptable use

Don't use Trip Tracker to:

  • Post anything illegal, harassing, abusive, or that violates someone else's rights
  • Impersonate another person or trip member
  • Attempt to access another user's account or a trip you weren't invited to
  • Abuse, scrape, or overload the service (automated signups, bulk requests, etc.)

We may remove content or suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with or without notice.

No warranty

Trip Tracker is provided "as is." Itinerary details (confirmation numbers, times, costs, etc.) are entered by users, not verified by us — always confirm important travel details directly with your airline, hotel, or booking provider. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Trip Tracker — including missed flights, reservations, or any reliance on information stored in the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Trip Tracker after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
